Guidelines for Communication Minister

 

 


 

Communication: 

Goal:    That parishioners are informed on what is happening regarding parish life

Objectives:    

  • To act with the chairperson in the consultative process for the co-management of the parish
  • To ensure that there are effective lines of communication within the parish
  • To act as a proxy in times of prolonged absence of a minister
  • To ensure that council elections are held in line with parish policy
  • To ensure there are adequate volunteers to fulfill the ministreis within the parish
Tasks:    
  • Attends agenda meetings 
  • Types the agenda and distributes to Councillors
  • Processes the correspondence
  • Ensures Council elections are held
  • Prints the annual report of the Council
  • Develops a 'volunteer sheet' for the parish
